Yaya needed to maintain her brand image to support her product lines and satisfy her growing fan-base by displaying her expansive modeling and cosplay portfolio. She also needed an easy way for events around the world to express interest in booking her, feature her television appearances, and a blog that could be updated on the fly to keep everyone informed of her schedule and product releases.
In addition to a content packed portfolio and blog, Yaya needed a robust ecommerce platform for her signature costume design line swag for her loyal fanbase. She needed the ability for customizable options, bundled products, and an automatic shipping calculator that allowed for advanced configurations based on products purchased together.

We worked with Yaya and her team to create a fantasy aesthetic to give her audience the experience they have come to expect in her industry. Animated Clouds, dancing stars, cute iconography and fabric textures pulled the entire platform together.
We developed a full blown portfolio for Yaya to showcase her modeling and cosplay experience, and even built a gallery and easy fan-submission for her audience to submit art they had created in tribute to her. We also built a robust blogging and news platform for Yaya which included magazine and online interviews, website news, press releases, and Yaya's personal blog.
This helped to nurture her loyal fan base, keep them in touch with her activities and encourage repeat purchases of the Yaya Han product line.
We know that Yaya's audience consumes content at their desk at work, on the couch at home, and on the go. They use a range of devices and expect an experience which is easy. Responsive design is vital. We designed Yaya's site to allow for brand engagement across all devices comfortably.

We considered Yaya's celebrity status and range of different offerings. We took great care to make sure that she and her staff could easily add and edit content, moderate comments and fan submissions, and easily process and track ecommerce orders without any advanced technical knowledge.
We acomplished this by customizing the content management system ExpressionEngine and paired Yaya and her team with both the robust power and customizability they needed with a platform that was a breeze to use with no technical challenges for their content managers.
